When Reality Hits You About Mothers Day
This is why I am looking at Mother’s day ?differently.
For the first time in my life as mothers day is gets closer, I am not thinking about my mother but the mother I would be to my kids.
I grew up in a loving family. My dad thought me that; when you love love with all your heart and give it your all, always be a positive influence in somebody’s life.
He would literally sacrifice all he had to make you happy, that was the kind of man he was. Loving and warm and always trying to put a smile on your face.
I talk about my dad because he was the one who took care of me everytime I was sick, he drove on my first day of boarding school, we spent 11 hours just to cross the underbridge.lol
He was there for me when I had my first heart break, he told me
Any man would be lucky to have you in his life and there are better guys who are going to come your way ?.
He would say to me….
It is not enough to be a beautiful woman but you’ve got to be smart and intelligent too.
He was my number fan, always cheering me and pushing me to live my dreams.
That is the kind of mum I want to be for my kids. Love them in thier good times and love them in their worst.
My dad is my inspiration, can safely say he was my mum too.
