The Unspoken Truth
Hello Dollz, how are you doing?
There has been a lot of buzz the past weeks about Moesha Boduong comment about how she sleeps with married men to survive. In her interview with Christiane Amanpour on the “Sex and Love,” series. I honestly did not pay any attention to the noise, till a friend asked my opinion on the issue so I decided to write this piece.
After the trolling on social media this is what Amanpour had to say
“So it was quite distressing to hear that one of our contributors, Moesha Boduong, has been the target of public shaming by the Ghanaian press and the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection”
Oh Ghana why?
Now I am going to be straight with all of you.
Some Ghanaians are BIG HYPOCRITES! You act like you are holier than thou but God only knows the creepy things you do in the dark. Please give Moesha a break, she was being bold and honest about her reality and there is nothing wrong with that.
Now before you start bashing me too, I am not saying it is right for any woman to sleep with a married man for money. But sometimes a girl got to do what she got to do and that is a reality of life, we all have choices to make and that is what she wants to do. The truth is that there are many women who find themselves sleeping men because of circumstance but can not come out to speak about it because they are afraid.
I feel that Moesha did not articulate her opinion properly because to say that the economy is hard(which she is right to say) that women can not take care of themselves so they sleep with married men to survive? That is some real bs… because there are some women like myself making moves and making bread but we are not having sex with men for money or let alone sleep with married men for money, so that statement is flawed.
But that does not change the fact that this is the reality of some ,if not most women in Ghana and other parts of the world. So instead of bashing her please government find ways to make the economy friendly for us so we can make money, because charley the system hard and man tire.
You know you love me,
